Bob began his career in insurance/reinsurance in 1970 with Sun Alliance & London, moving into reinsurance in 1974, covering different business throughout his career, including first involvement with Captives in 1978.
Director of various Lloyds brokers since 1982. Part of the management team that sold Wackerbarth Hardman to Minet in 1994.
Worked closely with St Paul Management (owners of Minet) on their Lloyds strategy, promoting and facilitating Lloyds Corporate Capital investments by a significant number of the world’s largest insurance and reinsurance groups into Lloyds. Facilitated the sale of 3 Lloyds managing agencies and was a director of a Lloyds Corporate Member on behalf of one major insurance group. Originator of certain Lloyds “Gearing” structures, which are now the “market standard” as alternatives to direct investment.
Established Advanced Capital Solutions Limited in 2002 as a Regulated specialty intermediary and management consultancy.
